Canva Instructions

All ACs share the same account. Login information is available in MyConnect.

Please do not share this login with agents.

1. Go to: https://www.canva.com/
   
2. Choose what you want to create from the list on the left:
   
   
   
   
3. The templates may have multiple variation options. Hover your mouse over a template to see the different variations available:
   
   
   
   
4. Click on the template you want to use and click Use this template:
   
   
   
   
5. Rename your project before making any changes by clicking File and the pencil icon next to the name at the top. Choose a name that will be easily identifiable to you, then click outside of the edit window to save the new file name:
   
   
   
   
6. Your selected template may have several “pages” containing different versions of the design. Choose the one you like and delete the extra pages by clicking the trashcan icon above the page:
   
   
   
   
7. To remove the 5-star rating, click on it once to select it, then click the trashcan icon in the top right corner:
   
   
   
   
   NOTE: The text under the star rating is editable, but the stars are not. If an agent has an  individual rating of less than 4.8/5, or does not have a rating at all, please remove this part from the signature.
8. To edit the text on the template, double-click it:
   
   
   
   
1. If your text overflows the box frame, you can expand the frame sideways and/or use the text controls at the top to adjust. Use your best judgment about what looks presentable.
   
   NOTE: All signatures must be brand-compliant. Please do not change the style or color of the font on any signatures, only the size. If an agent wants additional customization, please contact Marketing@bhhsdrysdale.com for assistance.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. You can also move things to realign them if needed using click and drag. You will see guidelines pop up to show you alignment options (center, edge, etc.). Solid line means you’re aligning to the entire template. Dashed line means you’re aligning to one of the other elements on the template:
   
   
   
   
   
   
9. To add an image:
   
1. Click the placeholder image to select it, then click the Uploads icon on the left:
   
   
   
   
2. If you haven’t uploaded the image you need yet, click Upload image or video:
   
   
   
   
3. Once your image is uploaded, it is saved, and you do not need to upload it again. Click and drag your image from the directory over your placeholder frame:
   
   
   
   
4. To move the image inside the frame, double-click it and use your arrow keys to align it properly:
   
   
   
   
10. Your design is automatically saved in Canva for the future, in case you want to go back to make changes. To download your finalized design to your computer, click the purple download icon in the top right corner:
    
    
    
    
11. You do not need to change any of the settings. Just click the Download button to save your design on your computer:
    
    
    
    
12. In Canva, your design is saved under All your design. If you don’t see it right away, use the Search option at the top to look for it:
