New Listing Process

New Listing Process

When an agent gets a new listing, it is important that we make sure the process is running smoothly, especially if he/she is new to the industry.

The Listing Process Steps:

  1. The Agent or PTS Coordinator needs to create a listing in SkySlope – SkySlope & DigiSign Handbook or Tutorials in SkySlope can be used to help agent.
  2. Listings should be entered into SkySlope within 3 days of entering into the contract.
  3. Upon receipt of the listing, the Manager or PTS Coordinators are to review the Listings file to ensure the file is complete.
  4. A fully executed Listing Agreement is required, no exceptions. These can be found at CAR.org or NV (If agent is unsure how to access their CAR or NV forms have them talk to their sales manager/business consultant for help setting up.)
  5. The agent should also have the ABA and the CLUE Report Advisory forms completed These documents can be found in MyConnect > Document Center > Listing Forms – these are disclosures specific to Drysdale Properties.
  6. Create a task/reminder in SkySlope to notify the agent 3 days prior to the listing expiration for all listings including those assigned to a TC. – SkySlope should never have expired listings, for how to handle expired listing refer to “Expired in SkySlope.”
  7. Listings are the property of the Broker and as such, will remain with the Company at the time of the Associate Licensee terminates unless agreed to by the Broker. (see termination).  The release of listing can ONLY be done with the Brokers Signature.

Marketing the Listing:
  1. Agent must complete the Listing Launcher to begin the marketing process including ordering a sign for the listing – Listing Launcher can be found in REsource Center > Drysdale Hub > Tools & Resources > Listing Launcher Tile or by going to https://form.jotform.com/202035742085146
  2. This is an online form that the agent will complete. It is then emailed to agent, AC and PTS Coordinator, if using one. This must be uploaded to SkySlope by AC.
  3. Signs cannot be ordered up without a fully executed and reviewed Listing Agreement in the file, no exceptions.
    1. Once the sign is ordered notate the checklist that it was ordered with the date and your initials, i.e., “Sign ordered up 3/1 – NKB”.
    2. The AC is responsible for ordering the signs up and down for our California offices
    3. AC to notate file when sign is ordered up and down with date and initials
    4. Out of area or additional fees will be the agent’s responsibility to cover.
  4. It is the agent’s responsibility to enter the listing into the MLS, if agent needs help the sales manager/business consultant is available to assist.
  5. Signs must be called down within 3 business days of the expiration or cancellation.  Relisting properties cannot have a sign up for longer than 3 business days without an active listing agreement on file.  Any sign cost including but not limited to trip charges may be the responsibility of the Associate Licensee if they fail to provide the required documents in a timely manner.
