How do I create a Business Page?

How often should I post?

Most studies reveal that you should be posting to your page once a day, but no more than 2 times. If you’re a beginner, we recommend starting with posting a minimum of 3 times a week. 

 

How can I save myself time?

Scheduling and automation. Facebook has a built-in scheduling tool which allows you to schedule out an unlimited amount of posts. How to schedule on Facebook

 

Automation. Connect your Facebook, LinkedIn and/or Twitter to Social Media Resource in the Resource Center. Social Media Resource will automatically post to your page once a week, on the day you select. You also have the option of manually posting content from the Social Media REsource Exclusive Content area any time. How to set up Social Media REsource – (Directions begin on slide 10)

 

When should I be posting to my social media?

When your audience is online will determine when you should post. Be sure to check your Facebook Insights. The key is to not just post at random and expect engagement. With the help of the chart below and analyzing your past post engagement, you can zero in on a schedule that makes sense.

What should I post?

Be the Mayor of your market. Post information and content that your followers may not have access to on their own. Share community-based information and events. Video content with real estate-based information and updates done by you! Hint: Videolicious is a great video creation product, free to you.

Should I use hashtags?

Yes, using hashtags on your social media posts can increase your engagement. Mastering the use of the hashtag can increase your social impact at no cost other than the time it takes to learn each platform and paying attention to trends. When used correctly, hashtags can reach people outside of your followers that are interested in the same topics as you and ultimately drive people to your page and likely they will begin the “Follow” you.

First, follow Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. We post quality content that you can easily share to your page.
