Acknowledgement of Broker’s Customary Commission & Commission Reduction Policy

The Acknowledgement or Broker’s Customary Commission & Commission Reduction Policy should be used anytime a property is in contract at less than the Broker’s Customary Commission.  It is a simple confirmation for the agent to acknowledge they will be responsible for the difference in commission.

  1. The form should be a required item in the SkySlope file for:
    1. Any and all listings taken at less than 5% with less than 2.5% to BHHSDP.
    2. Any and all reductions to commissions that BHHSDP may need to participate in. 
  2. The form can be found in the working documents in SkySlope and in REsource Center > Drysdale Hub > Tools & Resources > Operational Forms for Managers/Agent Concierge > General >Acknowledgment of Broker’s Customary Commission & Commission Reduction Policy
  3. Upload signed acknowledgment to SkySlope checklist for ABCC and notate in the checklist that “agent to pay company difference” or “agent requesting company participation.” If Agent is requesting company participation complete an RCA.
