Live Link Scanning in Email to prevent phishing
Live Link Scanning is another security feather in our cap. This is not something you can get with a regular email provider that you may be using now.
Our Drysdale email platform has two types of link scanning to prevent phishing.
- Active Link Scanning (spam filters)
- This is where links get scan and if any threats are found, email gets put in junk.
- This isn't always fool proof because links destinations can change by the time they get to your inbox.
- Live Link Scanning
- This will scan or offer to scan a link once you click on it from an email.
- The added level security should protect you from smart URL phishing attempts
This does not leave you completely protected, there are still other ways hackers will try to get your account information so please stay vigilant of suspicious emails and attachments and anything that asks you to log in to something.
