Most of our offices have a Canon Multi Function Printer below are the instructions on downloading the printer drivers to your agent’s computer/laptop.

 

1.  Go to www.usa.canon.com
   
2. In the search bar, type in the model of your printer i.e. C5235, and click on the printer title
   
3. Scroll down to Software and Drivers
4. Your computers Operating System should be detected. Choose the most current driver by clicking “Select” and then “Download” – It will be the file with UFRII_Set-up.exe.
   
5. Save the File
   
6. Open your downloads and open the folder where your file was downloaded
   
7. Double click on the file to extract > click “Extract”
   
8. Go to your downloads > open folder (yellow folder) > choose x64 (in most cases) > choose Setup.exe
   
9. Agree to Terms
   
10. Under Printer Set Up choose Custom > Next
    
11. Choose Canon Driver Information Assist Service > Next > Yes > Auto Select > Next
    
12. Under Printer Information select Add Port > Standard TCP/IP Port > Ok > Next
    
13. Under Printer Name or IP Address enter your printer's IP address > Next
    
14. Enter the Printer Name > Next

 

From Computers Control Panel:

1. In your computer's Control Panel, go to Hardware & Sounds > Devices & Printers
   
2. Find your printer in the list of printers and open it
   
3. Printer Properties > Utility > Open Utility Settings > Dept. ID > Add Department ID > Verify
   
4. Open the print queue > Printer > Printing Preferences
   
1. Change the printer preferences to single sided and black & white > Apply > OK
   
5. Click on Printer > Print Test Page
   

 

Note: These instructions are general and can vary depending on the computers operating system.  You may need your printer’s IP address to complete installation.
