Whether an agent is going to another brokerage or getting out of the business we need to be sure to follow the same process of terminating them as soon as we are notified.
- Complete the online Agent Terminations JotForm which can be found in Resource Center > Drysdale Hub > Staff & Internal Processing JotForms > Agent Termination Form or by clicking link https://app.jotform.com/222766008207150/201815543762051
- Answer ALL questions fully, if the agent is getting out of the business put NA for new brokerage.
- Accounting will email you with your agent’s A/R statement to be signed
- If agent has a balance owed, you might need to request a payment plan
- Complete the proper board transfer paperwork for the agent and listings. (Contact your local board if you are unsure)
- If agent has a listing they are taking with them we MUST receive payment prior to releasing the listing. We also need a CAR or equivalent Cancellation of Listing signed by all principals prior to our release.
- Pending sales stay with us and will be closed out as normal
- Delete agent copy code and email from copier
- Remove agent from Sign Company Office Account
- Request sign company to discard agent's personalized signs from inventory if agent does not want
- Ensure agent has given back key
- Email Agent Services the completed Terminated Agent Transmittal with all other required documents; i.e. board transfer/termination, board listing transfer, agent A/R and Income Statement signed by agent; within 24 hours of termination date

Note: Same day pay is a benefit to active agents only.
If an agent leaves but has an escrow with us the commission check will be sent directly to the home office to be split and then distributed.
